Terahertz research is expected to be applied to a wide range of fields, so it requires a wide range of knowledge, including optics, physics, biology, chemistry, medicine, information and communications, mathematics, semiconductor processes, simulation (electromagnetic field analysis), optical system construction, optical alignment, instrument control, and more.
You will need to study your research topic in depth, and also study other fields related to that topic. We are looking for motivated students who are interested in a wide range of things.
